The Toronto Accolades love to perform!

In the summer the chorus might perform at a walkathon or a street festival. In the winter, small groups from the chorus are engaged by BIAs to go carolling from store to store. The chorus and its smaller performance group, Who Let The Girls Out, also perform for social clubs, retirement residences, and community and charitable organizations throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Every couple of years, the Accolades stage a chorus show. In 2011, we presented The Magic of Song at Crescent School and, in 2013, we entertained an overflow audience with If I Could Write A Song at Temple Emanu-El. Our Christmas show in 2014 at Bond Academy featured the three time Juno nominated vocal band, Cadence. And the shows just keep getting better. In April, 2016, we performed to a sold out audience at York Woods Library Theatre and, in November, 2017, we were back there again with Oh Canada, Eh!, a salute to Canada’s 150th anniversary.

The chorus also competes in its Area Contest and Convention every May for the opportunity to perform at Harmony Inc.’s International Competition in November. Over the past few years, the chorus has competed internationally in St. John, New Brunswick, Hershey, Pennsylvania, Orlando, Florida, Windsor, Ontario, Verona, New York, and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
