Singers Wanted!

Join us for four evenings of fun and song from March 22 to April 12.

Do you find yourself singing in the shower or humming along to your i-tunes? Well, you should come out and join the Toronto Accolades for four evenings of fun. On the first three evenings (Thursday, March 22, March 29 and April 5, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) you will discover the joys of singing a cappella and learn a song with us in four part harmony. On the fourth evening (Thursday, April 12), you will be part of a performance to show off your new skills in front of invited friends and family. And maybe you’ll even get hooked on this hobby we all love.

We meet at Willowdale Baptist Church, 15 Olive Ave., a couple of doors east of Yonge St., one block south of Finch. If you are driving, you can access the parking lot from Holmes Ave., which is 2 blocks south of Finch, but you will still enter the church by the Olive Ave. door.

Founded in 1968, Toronto Accolades is an all-female a cappella choral group singing four-part harmony in the barbershop style. We are members of Harmony, Inc., an international organization promoting friendship and personal growth through music and music education. Our repertoire includes a variety of music, both old and new, fast and slow. We put on shows, compete at Harmony, Inc. annual contests, and perform within the community.
